Writing Prompt May 3
Students should write two paragraphs (3-5 sentences in each paragraph) about their long weekend. This is a journal entry, so make sure to write about specific event that occurred over the weekend instead of recounting your entire weekend.
Remember what we have be learning in class about Personal Narratives:
Your introduction paragraph has a comment sentence with an emotion stated and don’t forget to include background information.
Accelerated Reading
You need to be at 40% by Friday, so make sure to take your A.R. book home each evening. You need to be reading at least 30 minutes each night.
Wednesday Writing Blog (April 18th)
As a follow up to Tuesday’s class and our discussion of personification, you are responsible for providing three examples of personification from your current silent reading book.
Your response should include your book title in italics and your three examples numbered 1 to 3.
