Poetry Night

Poetry Night is May 22nd, door open at 5:30pm with the evening getting under way at 6pm. More details are to follow.

Here are the poems for you to choose from. Choose one, and practice, practice, practice! You will be presenting to your classmates on May 7th, 8th, and 9th. To see the poems, click on Poems Grades 4-6

Student Led Conferences

Hello Parents! We can’t wait for you to come see some of the great work we have been doing this past term. Student-led conferences are on Thursday March 15th, from 4:30-8:00pm and Friday March 16th, from 8:00-noon. In the Grade 6 pod, be sure to stop by all child’s teachers to see examples of the work they have done. Please check for your time on the slip that was sent home last week in the report cards. See you there!

Field Trip March 2

Grade 6 students will be going to the Macau Space and Science Centre on March 2, 2012. Students will going to the Planetarium to watch the 3D movie “Dawn of the Space Age.” This field trip is an end of unit activity, wrapping up Sky Science unit.

Come along to our movie night hosted by Grade 6 Friday, 2 March, 6pm
“Wallace & Gromit – The Curse of the Were-Rabbit”
A family fun night for all ages – Mums & Dads too!
BBQ, drinks, popcorn & lolly bags for sale!
Admission – 20MOP per person/ticket
Tickets will be on sale from 27 February in the school foyer or buy on the night.
All children are to be supervised by at least 1 parent on the night. All proceeds will go towards the Grade 6 trip to Guilin.

Dress Down Day!

Our dress down day on Friday (Feb. 24) is PINK and/or JEANS day and is in support of stopping bullying. The students are asked to wear pink clothing and donate chocolate or 10 MOP for the Easter basket raffle. TISPA will raffle the baskets and donate the money to Free The Children.

The Grade 6 classes have now had their WordPress blogs up and running for just over three months. We are constantly looking to improve the navigability of the site and are looking for your input. Chinese New Year’s Performance

The elementary and kindergarten performances for the Primary School Chinese New Year’s program will be at the MUST gymnasium on Wednesday, January 18th, 9:30 – 11:30am. Doors will open for parents at 9:00am. See you there!

Yellow Dress Down Day

Congratulations to the Yellow House for winning the Christmas board decoration competition! All members of the yellow house will be allowed to ‘dress down’ on Friday, January 13th.

Extra Curricular Clubs

Term 2 Extra Curricular clubs started Monday January 9th. Clubs run for 8 weeks, not including the week of Chinese New Year, from January to March 2. There are many options to choose from, so be sure to sign up today!
